Course 1

Making Effective Bite Splints

Theoretical and Hands-On Training
We make bite splints to help our patients. Whether in the presence of attrition, fissures and cracks, abfractions, mobility, muscle tension, headaches or even joint pain, the primary purpose of a splint is to help reduce pressure levels. A splint should reduce muscle tension and properly distribute forces. A well-made splint is effective and comfortable to wear.
